Alex and Espy met a decade ago in the Philippines. Espy worked in the United States as an accountant and Alex is a Catholic priest.

The young couple fell in love but could not express it because of Alex’s profession.

After years of holding it in, Alex finally decided to tie the knot with Espy.  But this was no easy task. Alex, faced a task that would strengthen their bond.

Alex had to go to the Vatican, in Italy to have the Catholic Church approve his wedding. After a trip around the world, Alex was now cleared to be wedded to Espy.

Which brings us to this bright day in beautiful Southern California, where Espy and Alex are wedded at St Bartholomew. Followed by a beautiful reception at the Summit House in Orange County.

I’ve never seen soo much love and happiness in a wedding. I felt that it was extra romantic that their first kiss as husband and wife was their actual first kiss.

Alex smiled the whole day, he laughed and enjoyed every moment of his wedding and with every chance he got, he hugged his long awaited bride.

Rancho Las Lomas is one of the best wedding venues in Southern California. With a mixture of great details and a beautiful location, I felt extremely privileged to be part of Rory and Paul’s gorgeous wedding day.

We started our day with the Ladies. With every minute going by Rory’s excitement became more and more apparent. Her smile become wider as the hour drew on and her boquet bloomed beautifully with vivid petals that filled the room with a scent fit for a royal audience.

Rory and Paul understood that after their first kiss as newlyweds, their day would jump to a hundred miles per hour and they’ll find themselves in the limo on the way to their honeymoon. Rory and Paul took half an hour before the ceremony to take a moment and give each other a first look, a time set apart for them to slow their day down just enough for them to enjoy each other.

After their beautiful ceremony, Rory and Paul walked among Rancho Las Lomas’ orange trees where the romance continued beneath the failing light.

As their day ended and the evening began, the night was filled with the roars of white tigers, the shrill screams of the numerous parakeets around Rancho las Lomas; but the most memorable sound of all was the two families, now united, celebrating the beginning of Rory and Paul’s beautiful union.
