Brian and Jen met back in high school. Their relationship grew and grew until one day Brian left for the Navy. Although hugely difficult, Jen held on during numerous deployments, they wrote each other long emails and spoke whenever they could.

Brian and Jen decided to have their ceremony and reception in their backyard. She loved having family over and she couldn’t think of a better place to open a new chapter of their lives together.

Special Thanks to my wife, Tweedy for second shooting this wedding with me 🙂

Ashley, Oscar and their Camaro

During one of our client meetings, I asked if there was a location or an event that could tie together their relationship, something that had always been there and that will probably always be there. They both looked at each other and told me that this Camaro would be it.

While they were dating, still in high school, Ashley used to bring Oscar lemonade as he worked on his Camaro.

Throughout the years, it would bring them to places, require their attention, and give them shelter when it rains.

Brandon and Jennifer met back in high school. Jennifer’s parents owned a small restaurant franchise in Fulleton and they hired Brandon to do the dishes. After they worked a few shifts together, they knew that there was a spark. Fast forward ten years and these two still look at each other like it’s their first date.

Speaking of their first date, Brandon took Jennifer to the Fullerton Arboretum, where they spent the day feeding ducks and getting to know each other. It was only suitable that they get married here. The Fullerton Arboretum was the perfect setting for this couple. Brandon and Jennifer’s choice to keep things simple allowed their guests to focus on what’s truly important in the wedding, the bride and groom.

With the sun setting and the temperatures dropping, it became time for Brandon and Jennifer to step towards the dance floor. And as their first dance reached its climax, there was not a dry eye present . But don’t let the crying fool you, when it came down to throw down and boogie there wasn’t a single person who was in their chair.Their guests literally danced into the night.

Miguel, Amelia, and their two Adorable Girls

December 31st, 2011

Stop by and Check out Miguel and Amelia’s Gorgeous Family Portraits. When I was a kid, I always heard about how boring family sessions can be, so I made sure that not only did Miguel and Amelia had fun, but to pick a location where their children can have fun and interact with the settings without the distracting playground stuff. No matter how old you are, a day in the woods can be a great experience!

I met Miguel and his family about a year ago. Miguel, is actually another photographer friend of mine. When I was starting out, he was one of the photographers who took me under their wing and showed me the ropes in this business. Again, I was very privileged to be selected by a fellow photographer for photos. There wasn’t a dull moment throughout the whole shoot, although shy at first, the kids eventually warmed up and started running about and left me alone with their parents– it had been a while since Miguel and Amelia’s engagement photos so I figured we had time for a few intimate sessions. Fizzah and Ronnie’s Nikkah

December 30th, 2011

I met Fizzah in the classroom over a year ago, like me she’s also an event photographer. I felt flattered and honored that she asked me to shoot her Nikkah at the Grove earlier this year. I understand how hard it is for other shooters to look for photographers, and it’s always a compliment when a photographer asks me to shoot his or her wedding. Ronnie and I have alot in common actually, we both enjoy big cars with lots of horsepower and we both come from the Midwest. During their first look and romantic session, there was one thing very obvious. These two, were in love– MADLY in love.

Brigitte and Elliot started dating six years ago. Elliot, a successful HVAC technician, met Brigitte while he was doing some work in the office she worked at at the time. Fast forward six years and they  began planning their wedding at the Trilogy Country Club.

We started their engagement session at the beautiful Villa Del Sol in Fullerton and we finished it off with a short hike. These photos were taken this past spring in a secluded and very intimate location, I love the how much the color in the leaves popped and the warmth of the golden sunlight brought out the romance between this gorgeous couple. It didn’t take long before the magic of the woods took over and we no longer had to direct Brigitte and Elliot, the moments that happened while my shutter clicked were genuine and real. As they laughed and flirted with each other, it was evident that their wedding day couldn’t come any sooner.
