We shot Paul and Maggie’s Engagement Session a while back, check it out if you haven’t seen it :)

We photographed their wedding at St Anne’s Catholic Church in Seal Beach, California.

Many wedding days go without a hiccup, many go slowly, many go quickly, but no two are ever alike.

Paul and Maggie’s wedding is one I won’t soon forget.

Their ceremony was small, quiet, and sincere. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

While walking around their ceremony, I ran into an old friend. I stumbled upon my childhood neighbor, Timmy- who played beautiful music during the ceremony.

For their romantic session, we walked around and shot around Main Street.

Just like before, Paul was extremely goofy- which came very appreciated as I sometimes get too caught up with taking photos and can get too serious.

Their reception at the Grand in Long Beach, was just as special.

Surrounded by their friends and loved ones, the night went on filled with captivating music, laughs and good times.

This past winter Paul and Maggie had their daughter and I couldn’t be happier for them.

Congrats Paul and Maggie!

Sam and Simon are the King and Queen of understatements.

When were discussing the details of their engagement session, Sam and Simon told me that they’d like to have their photos taken near their home.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, because well taking a walk around the neighborhood for engagement photos isn’t normal for me.

When I saw their neighborhood my jaw dropped. I couldn’t believe they lived in such a paradise.

I’m super grateful for the opportunity to spend the day we did with Simon and Sam, and for hooking it up with a full season of our new favorite TV show.

While Carmageddon was wreaking havoc in Los Angeles, we were in the Inland Empire photographing Brigitte and Elliot’s intimate wedding.

If you recall, Brigitte and Elliot joined us last time in Fullerton for the engagement session.

Brigitte got ready at her sister-in-law’s house, where her daughters did her make up. There was a stillness in the air that I can’t describe. Brigitte was extremely excited, yet calm.

Our favorite part of the wedding while Brigitte was getting ready. These two cute little girls were having what seemed like the time of their lives dancing around the house, and when Brigitte got her dress on, it stopped them in their tracks. One the girls began to cry.

The little moments are what makes a wedding special. Most weddings have the dress, bouquets, a processional, a first dance, but the little moments are the ones that separate a wedding from the rest. To me, they stick out the most and make the best stories.

Miguel, Amelia, and their two Adorable Girls

December 31st, 2011

Stop by and Check out Miguel and Amelia’s Gorgeous Family Portraits. When I was a kid, I always heard about how boring family sessions can be, so I made sure that not only did Miguel and Amelia had fun, but to pick a location where their children can have fun and interact with the settings without the distracting playground stuff. No matter how old you are, a day in the woods can be a great experience!

I met Miguel and his family about a year ago. Miguel, is actually another photographer friend of mine. When I was starting out, he was one of the photographers who took me under their wing and showed me the ropes in this business. Again, I was very privileged to be selected by a fellow photographer for photos. There wasn’t a dull moment throughout the whole shoot, although shy at first, the kids eventually warmed up and started running about and left me alone with their parents– it had been a while since Miguel and Amelia’s engagement photos so I figured we had time for a few intimate sessions. Brad and Christine’s wedding ceremony took place on a secluded beach in San Diego. It wasn’t the largest wedding I’ve ever covered but that didn’t take away from the emotions and moments that I was able to witness and capture.

From anxious family members to excited loved ones, this wedding had it all.

Brad and Christine had been together since high school, sharing numerous years of happiness and laughs.

And yes, I mean laughs- Christine loves to play pranks and definitely is the goofball of the relationship, check out her wedding shoes!

As the sun set, and their guests headed to their reception. We photographed their romantic session in front of a beautiful San Diego beach sunset.

Nina and Mesh met a few years ago at the Camp Snoopy dorms at UCSD. They plan on having their ceremony sometime next year Kathmandu, Nepal.

Their engagement session took place in the same area where they met in San Diego. We were able to join them for their romantic stroll down memory lane.
